Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. The most notable role she has played is her performance on All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives. Delaney was born as the sole child of her mother who was a homemaker and an executive in her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney spent most of her childhood with 4 brothers. When she was a kid, she dreamt of being a court reporter. But after she graduated from high school and relocating into New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. Her personal life unlike her professional life hasn't been successful and happy. The talented actor has had to battle alcoholism, and has had two failed marriages.
